5. Examination

i) Every week each student pair has to hand in an exercise. The average mark for the exercises counts for 50% of the final mark.

ii) There is a 2-hour written examination at the end of the course. The mark for this examination also counts for 50% of the final mark. A student must pass this examination (minimum 5.5) in order to pass the course.

The mark for the practicals is valid for one year. After a year the student may opt to do the practicals again or to let the exam mark fully determine the final course mark.

The exam is scheduled in week 42 of the Wageningen academic year.

6. Costs (not for MSc students of Wageningen University). For PhD students of Mansholt Graduate School with an approved TSP the course fee is € 300,- For other participants the course fee is € 600. The course fee does not include any additional materials.

The course participants from Wageningen are requested to register at CSA and acquire the registration number to be able to use electronic study facilities via Black Board.
