The 17th EC² Meeting - December 15-16 2006

EC² is a series of annual international conferences on research in quantitative economics and econometrics, launched in 1990. The acronym EC² stands for European Conferences of the Econom(etr)ics Community. Its main aim is to maintain and extend an adequate forum for both senior and junior European researchers in quantitative economics and econometrics to discuss the progress and results of their research.

Dates: Friday, December 15 and Saturday, December 16

The Econometric Institute is proud to organize the 17th EC² Meeting in Rotterdam. The main theme of the conference is

The Econometrics of Monetary Policy and Financial Decision-Making

The program consists of invited and contributed papers. Posters sessions are included as well.

Preliminary schedule

Participants are expected to arrive in Rotterdam on the eve of the meeting, which means arriving on Thursday December 14. There will be a welcome drink organized at the Conference site starting at 18.00h. The proper conference starts on Friday December 15 at 8.30h. The conference dinner is scheduled on Friday evening. The conference ends on Saturday December 16 around 18.00h.
